A. Dumas said, “Not a day without a line!” I’m certainly not Dumas. Not at all. But sometimes I get the feeling that I just have to write. That if I don’t write, something will go wrong. And the right thing won’t happen.
FEELINGS need to be felt! That’s what feelings are for.
As for thoughts – first you think, then you realize.
My personal belief is that thinking is harmful. One needs to understand things, the world around us. The thinking process – it often borders on reflection. Analysis is useless because its result is useless. Well. Let’s say I’ve analyzed something to death. Did I feel better from it? No, I didn’t.
Unfortunately, not many of us are capable of seeing through people and the world, and accurately assessing what’s happening. I’m not one of those genius individuals either. I’m just an ordinary girl, with access to what’s accessible to most – and that’s very little. But also a lot, at the same time. But this “a lot” is by no means the result of analytical abilities.
It seems to me that it’s much more important to be able to listen to the world around us. Imagine yourself as a cat, released into the grass after sitting indoors for a long time. She crouches low, listens, sniffs. The only difference is that the cat expects danger at that moment. But we can stand tall and not be afraid. Because being afraid is silly. We cannot prevent what we will never be able to prevent. But in order to prevent what is available to a person, one must be able to listen and hear!
And even better – simply feel Life…
