Dream – July 21, 2004
My mom didn’t wake me up, and I slept until 1 PM. I jumped up in horror and started scolding her for not waking me up, to which she indifferently remarked that she had tried to wake me, but I just wouldn’t get up. I was angry because she knows that she needs to drag me out of bed by my legs to get me to come to my senses. At the moment when I touched my mom’s face to shake her head as if waking her from sleep, and felt the very soft skin of her cheek, I woke up.
Oh, what a relief, it was just a dream! I hadn’t slept in. I looked at the alarm clock. It was 3 PM. There was no doubt that I had missed the launch and such an important project. But at that moment, the alarm clock I was holding in my hand went off, signaling to me that now I had definitely fully woken up. The alarm showed 6:50, which meant Moscow time was about 6:20-6:30 (all my clocks run fast so I won’t be late, but they run at different speeds so I never know exactly how much time I have left)…
I managed to make the launch. But I’m ridiculously tired. And also, Morda had been walking all over my legs the whole night. Not a pleasant experience…
