Motivation is an internal push. It works most effectively when the momentum from the initial push is still very strong. Then, the momentum begins to fade. If we operate with the same physical terms, artificially, motivation can be sustained by resonance. And it doesn’t need to be maintained constantly — it just needs to be activated periodically, to generate enough momentum for some time. The duration of this time is individual, and the resonance should also be triggered by methods that work in the specific situation. But I’m confident that we can truly find the source of this resonance.
So, what is resonance? It is the phenomenon of a sharp increase in the amplitude of forced oscillations, which occurs when the frequency of an external force approaches certain values determined by the properties of the system. Resonance is a phenomenon in which, at a certain frequency of the forcing force, an oscillating system becomes particularly responsive to the action of this force. Soldiers marching in step on a bridge create such a resonance that they could easily destroy the bridge. The most interesting thing about resonance is that no special actions need to be taken for it. You just need to act in resonance with actions or phenomena that are already occurring or happening…
For example, motivation to engage in sports can return to its initial state of drive if the tail end of the remaining momentum is put into resonance by observing the positive results of people in similar conditions. That is, there must be a resonance of similar frequencies of conditions (such as physical fitness, etc.) of other people, and then we will begin to vibrate again.
And so, you can keep playing like this…
