There once was a tale
You told — it was mine.
A sea of tenderness
Was shining in your eyes.

Then a song I composed —
You sang it to me.
In the morning,
An incredible world I saw.

When I wrote a poem —
You declared, “Oh, yes!”
And the walls disappeared,
And the sadness dispersed.

Then my novel appeared,
You were the Knight, the Man.
You sent me an ocean
Of flowers again.

I was whispering a prayer —
You followed my voice,
To the end of the rhyme,
To the edge of the choice.

But the pages froze still
In the singing, my friend.
Together, we wrote
The last words: The End.

And so another day burned away,
The Moon caught in our magic sway,
And stars were peeking through the clear night
As we walked there in the starry light,
From fall till dawn — so tender, so far —
When I burned away like a shining star.

One hundred miles. I’m flying. Blues along.
I wish I was your mystery, your song.
Your tender wind. I’m melting — it’s okay.
I want to be with you again. Again.

I want to be the sun above your head.
I want to be the dream above your bed.
I want to be your tender tail-on wind,
Your tail-on light, your muse, your faithful limb.

Your tail-on sky, the grass you smell so deep,
Your tail-on joy, your easiness you keep.
You’ll sip my sweetest smell — I’ll be your way,
Wherever you may go, or live, or stay.

I’ll save you on the way to happy days
You’ll choose for life of joy and sunny rays.
I’ll help you bring the sunlight to your life,
And be your tail-on wind while I’m alive.

A quiet bark is hackling the blank,
As I hackle my dream of tender spark.
Transparent rain whispers along
My foggy window. Here I belong —

To bold and dark, to everlasting night —
So cold and rainy, like my soul inside.
And those umbrellas shining in the rain,
And the phone is ringing — not you again.

And I could bark like a lonely dog,
To save myself from emptiness and fog…
I couldn’t see the blues behind the shine,
And it’s so hard to say my last goodbye.

And so I dwelled. I hid the blue,
So you wouldn’t see my weakness. You.
Goodbye, my Love. Goodbye, my dear.
It’s time for me to disappear

From your captivity. Thank God!
I leave you the sky above,
My love, and magical allure.
I will be happy — that’s for sure.

My love was lashing,
Sealed by thoughts —
Like little birds
Trapped in a cage.

I wished so much
To be with you,
I couldn’t leave
The world of true.

And let it be
So slim, so light —
Only truth
Can stop the night.

And so I tried
To leave the lies,
When love was sealed
By shifty nights.

From heart to heart
Through separation,
My soul wants
To touch you badly.

The distance doesn’t
Really matter
For one who dares
To merge with you.

Please, don’t tell me goodbye,
I’m not saying goodbye.
Like a golden mysterious
Whisper of mine,

I will sing in the wind,
I will sparkle in the rain,
Oh, I will be around —
Not myself — but remain

In the whisper of water,
In the silence of light.
You will hear these lines
Inside your insight.

In the greenery I
Will be following you.
In the moonlight above —
I’ll be wonder and blue.

Snow and sun will be smiling
In memory of my face,
In the eyes of the people,
In the touch, in the space.

I’m not saying goodbye,
Even going away.
You know I will be.
Be with you. I will stay.

I touched you goodbye,
Whispering the last “I love you,”
And the memories of past days
Touched my soul again.

Transparent flame of the blue night,
Quiet whisper of drops along the glass,
The air between our lips —
I will never forget.

Those kisses in the fresh morning,
Every day and every night — so real —
And still I live with you in my heart,
Every second, every minute, every day.

Our meetings through hours and distances,
Our meetings by voices in unison —
There were meetings, there were leaves,
Just for a second of dreaming.

Impossible to break the palms apart —
Another world — like a fairy tale come true.
My endless overflowing love for you,
I feel it and I live it.

The heavenly interwoven souls,
The impossible heaven of magic tears
Will stay with me for eternity.
You’re in me. Forever. You. Goodbye.

Your roses smell like the sea.
From faraway wayfaring,
You have come to me
Under frantic sails.

There are storms and gales in your eyes,
Tales breathing in your air.
Your words have involuntarily
Disturbed my quietness.

Tonight you’ll sail away again.
You are eager to drink me,
To feed on me forever
Within one fleeting hour.

Saying goodbyes, I will calm you:
Look for me on Earth,
And in the crystal blue waves —
Look for my whirlpool eyes.

No matter how and when,
No matter with whom you are now,
It’s important to me
That you smile at the spring.

I may not be in your thoughts
During these spring days —
But it’s more important to me
That happiness cares for you.

That luck
Pets and caresses you,
That your beloved
Loves and waits for you.

That your life
Is tender and radiant, my Love.
Then I can be
Happy too.

They had been reaching for each other for so long,
Rushing toward one another,
Knowing nothing of what the future would hold.

They touched — for a moment —
Merging into one,
And stayed there —

In the transparent world of dreams,
In the frantic obsession of love,
Where the years dissolved like smoke.

They forgot themselves for a heartbeat,
And then drifted apart, each down their own road —
Yet somehow still together.

For Love, distances mean nothing.
For Love, days and years mean nothing.
For Love, only Love matters.
