The movie “Chocolat.” Hmm… I think this is one of those films where reading even the best review doesn’t quite prepare you for what it really is.
It belongs to that category of films that can pass unnoticed (if you pass by without noticing), but it has the power to give you not only aesthetic pleasure but also emotions, and even thoughts. And Sensations!
I love films that leave something… elusive in your soul. Then it ripens, and you begin to understand it. It’s like a flower that blooms inside you. When I was driving home, I realized that I was already a little bit different – lighter and brighter.
We all change every day. And in the morning, we’re a little different. But these changes are not so significant; we don’t notice them. This time, I felt my soul sing. I had taken another step on the endless “staircase to heaven,” the one we climb all our lives. I became a little more mature and understood something I had been trying to understand for a long time but hadn’t been able to.
I’ve described it so vividly… It may seem as though the world has turned upside down, but it’s not quite like that. 🙂 Imagine yourself tired, after a long day, you come home, sink into a soft chair, take a sip of water, and suddenly notice a little vase with your favorite chocolates on the table. You pick one up, slowly bring it to your lips, take a small bite, and immediately feel the slightly bitter cocoa, the gentle intoxicating vanilla, the aroma of grated hazelnuts, and so much more that you can’t even separate from the symphony of melting bliss on your tongue. At that moment, your whole being is PURE PLEASURE OF THE SENSE. In that moment, you forget everything, in that moment, you are without sin, in that moment, you are happy. If we could capture these moments in everything we do, we would always be happy. Because happiness is always near; you just need to know how to take it.
That’s the result of MY “Chocolat…”
